Portuguese Pink

Delicate color and timeless elegance.

A noble stone with a unique identity.

One of the most prized natural stones from the Iberian Peninsula for its soft pink hue, fine veining, and warm texture is Portuguese Pink Marble.

As its name suggests, is native to Portugal. This marble has historically been used in iconic works, sculptures, and spaces that seek to convey sophistication and delicacy.

TYPES of Portuguese Pink

Portuguese Pink Marble Extra Grade is clear, uniform, and without visible veins. It is also highly valued in luxury spaces and heritage restorations.

A soft pink hue with light white and beige veins or nuances defines the Select Portuguese Pink.

Commercial Portuguese Pink has a more visible veining, with tonal variations that provide a great visual richness.

Providing greater luminosity to spaces, we find the Light Portuguese Pink Marble, ideal for interiors.

Finally, Veined Portuguese Pink Marble features pronounced veins or natural inclusions, and is widely used in decorative elements and furniture.

Polished Portuguese Pink Marble shines, highlighting the depth of color and pink nuances.

The Honed Portuguese Pink Marble, on the other hand, is matte and elegant, enhancing the naturalness of the tone and providing sobriety.

An Aged finish gives the marble a rustic and romantic texture, which is ideal for classic or historical settings.

Bush-hammered Portuguese Pink Marble has a rough, non-slip surface, perfect for outdoors.

A silky touch with a satin finish, modern and delicate, is typical of a Brushed or Sandblasted finish.

More information

Blocks

This natural stone is extracted from the quarry in blocks. There’s not a standard size, they usually measure between 2’4 and 3 meters wide, 1’4 to 2 meters long and 1’5 meters deep, and they are always referred to in cubic meters, therefore, and based on the dimensions mentioned, their volume can vary between 4.5 and 7 cubic meters. Larger sizes are not extracted because they would be too heavy for proper transport in a container.

Slabs

Slabs are the result of introducing Portuguese Pink blocks in the factory. We can obtein slabs with the same height and length, with any desired thickness. After, any desired finish can be applied. Standard slabs are generally around 4 m².

Tiles

Our Portuguese Pink tiles are available in a variety of standard sizes and thicknesses, ideal for flooring and wall cladding. The tiles are highly versatile and can be used for residential, commercial, and large-scale projects. In Coavantia Stone we reinforce the tiles with a mesh backing to ensure durability, easier handling, and safe installation.

For shipping, tiles are packed in pallets or cardboard boxes placed inside export crates to guarantee they arrive in perfect condition.

All pieces can be produced according to the dimensions requested, ensuring a perfect fit for any project.
